Description

Behind the Seams teaches an introduction to the art of costuming. This class covers all the essential skills, including research and vision, budgeting and costume choice, introduction to sewing and fabric choices, creating a costume, repurposing clothes for costumes, and telling the story through the visual art of costuming. Join us as we make the stage come to life!

Shiloh Mercy Allen is a Fashion Technology major with 10 years of costume design experience and her own clothing business called “Clothed in Mercy.” She has performed with Disney Aulani, Disney on Ice as an off ice performer, and continues to stay involved in Fine Arts/ Live Entertainment as much as she can.
