Hadestown: Teen Edition is a fun, full-length adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell's Hadestown, reimagined for teen actors and family audiences. This captivating folk opera is full of powerful moments and offers a hopeful and exciting theatrical experience. The story follows two love stories that twist together – the young and passionate Orpheus and Eurydice, and the immortal King Hades and his wife Persephone. Hadestown takes the audience on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back. With influences from classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, the musical explores big themes like the battle between industry and nature, doubt and belief, and fear versus love.

Two Performances:
Saturday, August 2 Times: 1:00 and 3:00 (call time at 11:00) Location: Living Hope Church (3639 W Prairie Ave, Hayden, ID)
Audition Date: June 30th
Time: 3:00-5:00 (must stay until Director says you can leave). **NEW Location for AUDITIONS ONLY: Mountain Lakes Bible Church (2215 N 7th St, Coeur d'Alene, ID).
Everyone will be cast.
Auditions are just to assign roles and lines/solos.
If is auditioning, at least 1 guardian must sign up for a Production Team. Please select your preferred choice, however your Production Team is subject to change.
