Description
Based on the hit film, Footloose brings one of the most recognizable soundtracks of the 1980s to life. This electrifying Oscar and Tony-nominated production brings to lifethe story of Ren McCormack, a city teenager who moves to a small town where dancing and rock music have been banned. As Ren struggles to fit in, he befriends a group of local teens who are eager to challenge the town’s strict rules.
Packed with iconic songs and energetic choreography, Footloose discovers the themes of friendship, courage, and standing up for what you believe in while celebrating the wisdom of listening to young people with a warm heart and open mind.
Auditions Date: July 1st Time: 3:00-5:00 (must stay until Director says you can leave). Location: Living Hope Church (3639 W Prairie Avenue, Hayden, ID)
Everyone will be cast - Auditions are just to assign roles and lines/solos. *No preparation necessary - material will be taught during auditions.
Performances(subject to change) Saturday, August 1
Times: 1:00 and 3:00 (call time at 11:00)
