Class Description

Students will learn how to work with a director of a show and design beautiful, functional sets that will be built by our Sets Committee. Students in this class will let their imagination and creativity take flight where just about anything could be a potential prop. After all one man's junk is another man's prop! We will be turning ordinary and not so ordinary stuff into "Theatrical Properties". Some of our fabulous fakes, the students design and create, will be used as props for CYT productions, including our upcoming show, Wizard of Oz!

Robert Tombari

Hello! My name is Robert! I guess this is where I tell you about myself. I have been a huge theatre fan for years. I graduated from Boise State University in 2014 with my B.A. in Theatre Performance. I recently, just last year, received my Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire based in Birmingham, England. I have worked exstensively in both performance and technical side of theatre. For about 5 years I worked as a stagehand at The Morrison Center for The Performing Arts during my Undergrad. I am excited to be joining the CYT family and look forward to meeting as many of you as possible!
