Teacher:

Marie Hunt

Marie Hunt has been involved in theater for almost thirty years. She auditioned for her first show at the age of fourteen, because her friend was too nervous to go by herself. It was a shock to everyone when Marie, always a shy and quiet girl, instantly fell in love with everything theater. Her creativity and imagination were unleashed, and she has never looked back. Some of her most favorite theater memories involve teaching and introducing kids to this artistic expression she loves so much. Since moving to Coeur d'Alene ten years ago with her husband and three kids (another has come along since, making four total), she has lead drama classes for a homeschool group, written, produced, and directed two stage plays, coproduced and directed Traditions of Christmas, appeared on stage in several productions, and is currently on the board of Lake City Playhouse.
