Annie, Newsies, Matilda and Oliver, these legendary characters sure know how to whip up some trouble, and this summer at CYT camp we will get into some good trouble with this bunch of Little Rascals as we act sing and dance our way through their famous musicals.
At this camp you will be gaining theater arts skills, participate in team competitions and play all the classic theater camp games that have made CYT camp legendary!!!

Marta Myers is a CYT North Idaho alum who has been involved in the many different facets of CYT for over 12 years. She recently graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Utah Valley University (UVU). She is a proud employee of the Theatre for Youth and Education Center in Orem, Utah where she has recently workshopped two new TYA musicals and choreographed "Seussical Kids" and "James and the Giant Peach Jr". She is delighted to have directed a successful production of "Godspell" at UVU this last spring. Marta loves CYT and can’t wait for a fun summer with her favorite kids!
Presley DuPuis is a proud CYT graduate who flipped over to the grown-up side and hasn't looked back since. He has worn many different hats in various CYT leadership roles with his work as a teacher, music director and director, pit musician, HYPE adviser, and improv coach. He has gone from being the kid who would play the piano when he wasn't allowed to, to one of the the accompanists himself, with his involvement in CYT dating back to 2008 at CYT North Idaho's first fully staged production: "Snow White." (where he played the Magic Mirror). Focusing on all aspects of music and theatre in his studies, Presley holds an A.S. in Music from North Idaho College and is currently finishing his degrees in both Collaborative Piano and Vocal Performance at Eastern Washington University. He has musically directed and played piano for many productions with local high schools, college productions, elementary choirs, community theatres, and his all time favorite gigs: CYT North Idaho and CYT Spokane.
Paisley Siemens is a CYT North Idaho alumni, her first show with CYT dating back to 2008. As well as being involved in CYT, Paisley is also a trained dancer and has taken classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap and hip hop and has been teaching dance for the past ten years. Along with her dance training she also has an AA in Music from North Idaho College. Paisley has loved being involved over the years in many different aspects of CYT including being a summer camp counselor and choreographer , teaching dance classes and musical theatre classes, directing shows and choreographing for both CYT and CCT productions. Paisley is also a dance instructor at Northern Dance Academy. She is extremely excited to be teaching for CYT this session and to be able to be part of a new generation of CYT students as they experience the program.
