PERFORMANCE SHOWCASES will be Saturday, AUGUST 7th @ 3:00pm, & Sunday the 8th @ 1:30pm at the Kroc Center.

THE BAKER (Chance Turnbull)
:  A harried but sweet and insecure baker who is simple and loving, yet protective of his family. He wants his wife to be happy and is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness but refuses to let others fight his battles. He wishes for a child.
THE BAKER’S WIFE (Ina Siemens): A determined and bright woman who leads a simple, yet satisfying life, and is very low-maintenance, yet proactive in her endeavors. She wishes for a child and for her husband to grow in confidence. 
CINDERELLA (Emme LaBenne): A young, earnest maiden constantly mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters and wishes for a different life.
: The mean-spirited, demanding stepmother of Cinderella.
CINDERELLA'S MOTHER (Mariel Kamprath): Deceased, with her soul guarding, and aiding, her daughter from a tree.
FLORINDA (Alee Foster) AND LUCINDA (Emily Harris) :  Cinderella’s stepsisters who are black of heart. They follow in their mother’s footsteps of abusing Cinderella.
GRANNY (Lily Mort)
: Vain and gorgeous, but disloyal, who is always searching for the next new, exciting thing. 
JACK (Mihret Washington): Reckless giant killer who is ‘almost a man’. He is adventurous, naive, energetic, and bright-eyed. He wishes to save his best friend, Milky White, the cow.
JACK’S MOTHER (Alyson Ward): Jack’s protective and weary mother is browbeating, independent, bold, and strong-willed. She wishes they had a better life but has no hope that could ever happen.
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Makayla Kaufman): A spoiled young girl who is strong-willed, quick-witted, fearless, yet youthful and naive.
MYSTERIOUS MAN (Donivan Floyd): Serves as the role of narrator, pops in and out of the story.
MILKY WHITE (Jocelyn Lykins):  Milky White is Jack’s cow. 
RAPUNZEL (Arwen Todd): A sweet, naive girl who has has been locked in a tower for the majority of her life, who finally stands up to the Witch in order to get out to see the world.
RAPUNZEL'S PRINCE (Jacob Sarkis): The pompous and arrogant brother of Cinderella's Prince. Sibling rivalry runs rampant between the brothers, including each brother's belief that HIS lady love is the most beautiful. 
STEWARD (Devan Renz)
THE WITCH (Macy Korsten): Sarcastic, ugly - then gorgeous -, obsessive protector of Rapunzel who is straight forward, bitter and aggressive.
WOLF (Devan Renz): A hungry and insatiable hunter who takes advantage of the weak by misleading and captivating his prey.

Marta Myers

Marta Myers is a CYT North Idaho alum who has been heavily involved in the many different aspects of CYT for over 7 years, including TAing, counseling, and teaching for camps for the last three summers. She is an active member of the local theatrical community, both in tech and performance, and aspires to one day hold a BFA in Musical Theatre. Marta believes strongly in inspiring others through performance and is thrilled to be sharing her philosophy with a new generation of CYT students this coming session.


Paisley Siemens

Paisley Siemens is a CYT North Idaho alumni, her first show with CYT dating back to 2008. As well as being involved in CYT, Paisley is also a trained dancer and has taken classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap and hip hop and has been teaching dance for the past ten years. Along with her dance training she also has an AA in Music from North Idaho College. Paisley has loved being involved over the years in many different aspects of CYT including being a summer camp counselor and choreographer , teaching dance classes and musical theatre classes, directing shows and choreographing for both CYT and CCT productions. Paisley is also a dance instructor at Northern Dance Academy. She is extremely excited to be teaching for CYT this session and to be able to be part of a new generation of CYT students as they experience the program.


Jesse Hampsch

Jesse Hampsch was born in Mesa, AZ in 1992. He holds Master's of Music in both Choral Conducting and Composition. His compositions have been performed in high schools, universities, and for honor choirs across the U.S. His broad musical interests inspire him to compose for a number of genres including: choral, musical theatre, and art song. He loves to teach music at all levels, from junior camps to collegiate music courses.


Jessica Belisle

Jessica Belisle has been the Artistic Director at CYT North Idaho for 1 year. Jessica is a CYT Spokane Alumna, her love for theater started when she was 8 years old and she saw her first CYT show (Sleeping Beauty)! Jessica studied History and Theater at Carroll College in Helena Montana, has been working with CYT since 2011 and has been on the artistic team for 15 CYT productions. Jessica firmly believes that through theater arts education a student can develop greater self awareness, empathy, discipline, teamwork, focus, passion, joy and confidence! Her goal is to cultivate an environment where every class, every production, every interaction, allows each student passing through CYT’s doors to feel, included, uplifted and inspired. Jessica is incredibly excited to be taking on such a delightful classic as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat!
